Cancer

Cancer has a major impact on the Australian community with over 100,000 people expected to be diagnosed with cancer in Australia in 2010-11. At current incidence rates, one in three men and one in four women in Australia will develop cancer by the age of 75. (AIHW, 2007).

Australia is a world leader in cancer research and both charitable organisations and the Australian government are committed to ensuring Australia remains internationally competitive and at the forefront of research and discovery regarding cancer.  Funding for cancer research has more than trebled in the last 10 years and is estimated to be around $500M per annum in 2010-11.

Life Research is excited to be offering a large range of Antibodies, Proteins/Enzymes and Inhibitors specifically for Cancer Research through our partners ProSci, Selleck and Others.
