About the founders of Life Research

Scott Needham started Life Research after 10 years as CEO of Leadtec the leading business-to-business e-commerce provider in Australia with over 50 staff and 1500 clients including Ford, Woolworths and DB Schenker.  Scott remains the owner of Leadtec based on its ongoing strength.

Scott founded Life Research as CEO out of his long held passion for the life sciences industry.  After carrying out in depth market research of the broad life sciences industry, the Life Research business model was chosen based on the market opportunity for a world class antibody and biological reagent marketplace.  The business is privately held and has been established with the equity capital and infrastructure to ensure it can have a long term focus.
